Outside Time!

We LOVE playing outside in preschool! There are so many benefits to being outdoors.

  • Physical Benefits: Improved health, improved immune system, stronger muscles, improved gross motor skills
  • Intellectual Benefits: Aids in brain development, interpersonal skills, spark interest in new topics, expands learning space
  • Social Benefits: peer to peer interaction and communication, self awareness and ability to navigate around and with others, increased compassion for the environment
  • Emotional Benefits: Improved ability to regulate emotions, self reflection, build resilience, and increases independence in children
  • Mental Health Benefits: increased happiness, lowers stress
