During mealtime, talk with your children about who is in their family. Have them either look at a family photo or start discussing about who about family members.
Ask questions such as:
Can you tell me about the people in our family?
What are the names we use in our family? Brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents etc.
Have your child draw a picture of their family! Send the picture to their teacher.
