March is Reading Month
March was designated National Reading Month in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 2 and encourages readers of all ages to read daily and engage in reading and other literacy activities outside for fun.During the month of march we celebrate all things reading in the classroom! Children listen to and read new books and explore favorite stories with guest readers, work on letter recognition, explore the library, and even write their own stories!
Please enjoy these pictures of March is Reading Month Activities from preschool classrooms across the district.
