Dearborn Public Schools offers a “Parent University”. The goal of this program is to provide parents (with children ages 6 months to 4 years) with classes in different developmental areas in order to help them to best meet the needs of their young children. These classes include: Nutrition & Health, Dental Care, Social Emotional, Screen Time & Technology, Math, Literacy, Music & Movement, and Science. During these classes you will be participating in hands on activities with your child, hearing from professionals in these interest areas, and receiving free materials to continue the learning through play at home. If you would like more information regarding these classes, please call (313) 827-6150.
